HELPING MPILO HOSPITAL

Saturday 29/5/21: Team Qoki Women Dreamers are giving their fair share of donations to help Mpilo Hospital doctors affected by the fire. Qoki UK & Ireland are still collecting donations and these will be handed over to the doctors on Monday.

According to the reports, 41 doctors were affected by the fire. As a result, Qoki ladies put together 41 bags to help these doctors during this difficult time.

Each doctor will receive a bag with the following items:

  • Cooking oil, 1 per bag

  • Green bars, 1.5 per bag

  • Maq washing powder 4kg

  • Fabric softener

  • Mazoe orange 1 per bag

  • Jade soap 1 each

  • Colgate toothpaste

  • Mahtma rice 10kg

  • Sugarbeans 500g

  • Brown sugar 2kg

  • Lulu tissue 3 each

QOKI WATER DISTRIBUTION IN BULAWAYO

Qoki ladies came together and donated money to  help distribute clean water following the water crisis in Luveve and other areas. The ladies helped with donations which paid for a 20,000 litres bowser to distribute water for six days.

The bowser started distributing water in Luveve because it was worst-affected, and then distributed in other locations in Bulawayo.

FIGTREE SINGLE DAD

Qoki ZiNdlovukazi donated to a Figtree single dad, Mr Gumede, who is raising his ten-month-old baby after his wife died during childbirth. Qoki ladies donated groceries, blankets and baby clothes, and also raised £500.

QOKI FOUNDER GIVES BACK TO HER COMMUNITY

Sithule donated twenty bags (1 tonne) of maize to be shared with her Lobengula community.
